We used Ashah’s photo booth and just added burlap to the background..
Here’s a little fun from the Photo Booth!
From: Somewhere New
The post about making Polaroids before was actually about these, but again I couldn’t post them because they were a surprise for Emma’s Shower.
I made a ton to lay around at the shower of Emma and Kyle!
A simple center piece of burlap, old books, the Polaroids I made of Emma and Kyle, and a glass bottle with flowers.
3 cupcakes I made:
1-Irish Cream with Coffee Icing
2-Chocolate with Peanut Butter filling and icing
3-Cinnamon Toast Crunch!
I used Polaroids as labels. Simple, cute, easy.
I made these hot air balloons a while ago and posted about it. They were for this the whole time!
I hung one with 2 metal pieces I found at Goodwill for $.99 and thought they looked like hot air balloons.
I put babies breath in the base of each and they looked great!
They also sell for $200 on Etsy.. yea freaking right!
Project 2:
1-I bought these two windows from a Habitat for Humanity Restore for $5 each.
2-I hot glued burlap to the back.
3-I made large fabric flowers in different colors going with the wedding color scheme.
4-I had a rope belt that came on some dress a long time ago and couldn’t throw it away. Who would have known it would come in handy for this! I attached the flowers to the rope and glued it on the frame and vwa la!
Easy. Cute. Cheap. Use window paint and write on them!
Project 1:
1-I ordered these prints from Etsy, and just asked the maker to personalize them and make them a bigger size. They looked PERFECT!
2-Then I bought two very similar frames from Goodwill for less than $2 each and a little bit bigger than the prints.
3-I hot glued them to burlap and the burlap to the frames.
So easy and so cute!
From the Bridal shower today!! I have so many projects that I can post now. They were all surprises for Emma at the shower!
Here’s the first 3 cupcakes:
Irish cream cupcake with coffee icing
Chocolate cupcake with peanut butter filling and frosting
Cinnamon Toast Crunch cupcake!
Emma loves coffee, so her cupcake was the irish cream, and Kyle’s favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, hence the cupcake. The chocolate peanut butter was just for a chocolate option.
Brittany is holding them with her bracelet beauty! Great model, and I couldn’t have worked with a better partner for a Bridal Shower. She is great and blessed me in being such a great partner!
How to make regular pictures into Printed Instagrams or Polaroids:
I wanted to print regular pictures off like my sisters cool little instagrams, but you have to actually use instagrams to use that website. Womp, womp. So I just googled “Polaroid printing” or something like that and found Poladroid!
It’s a free download, and the cutest thing ever! When you open it it opens a little Polaroid camera in the top left corner of your desktop. Then you drap you photo to the camera and it makes the sounds like its taking a Polaroid shot! A Polaroid pops up as just brown and you can move it around on your desktop, then you wait for it to develop! It makes a noise when it’s done developing, and you can watch it develop. It’s brilliant. You can do 11 at a time then you have to close it and open it again and can do 11 more. I always do 11 back to back and then do something else while they all sit on my desktop and develop at the same time.
So, I took these to Photoshop, put 9 of them to one page, uploaded it to my Office Depot Photo Studio page, went to Office Depot and printed 3 sheets on card stock for like $.69 each! That’s $.69 for 9 mini Polaroids. I brought them home, cut them out and they are freaking adorable!
We had the My Princess Dance on Saturday after setting up for the Wedding Day Hooray. It was a beautiful and magical night. They had everything from the Disney princesses to Medieval Times jesters and knights to snow and acrobats. Booster made the event as fun as possible with constant fun dancing and just by helping with anything and everything. Elevate put the dance on, and there were so many sponsors you can see on Buzzy Craftery’s site.
Saturday, Buzzy Craftery was in the Wedding Day Hooray table competition! There were so many talented people there, making it such an inspiring room. These are pictures of Ashley Buzzy McHugh’s table. It smelled like flowers and strawberries!
